PURPOSE:To obtain many stable and high-quality copies from one magnetic latent image while economizing in energy, by not using a magnetic toner but using a developer consisting of a magnetic fluid in the method where the magnetic latent image is recorded as a visible image on a recording paper. CONSTITUTION:A magnetizing head 13 is scanned on the surface of a magnetic recording medium to form a magnetic latent image 14 in a magnetic layer 12. Recording papers 15 are brought closely into contact with the surface of the magnetic layer 12 continuously, and a magnetic fluid 17 is stuck to the surface of a gravure roll 16 of 200lines/inch, and the magnetic fluid stuck to projecting parts is eliminated by a doctor blade 18, and the magnetic fluid held uniformly approximatey in recess parts is brought into contact with the surface of recording papers 15 continuously. At this time, the magnetic field image formed through recording papers 15, and the magnetic fluid 17 is stuck to this magnetic field image, thus forming a magnetic fluid image (visible image) 20. |
