PURPOSE:To permit easy and stable control of tension by adjusting the revolution speed of a carrousel reel by comparing the estimated value of the tension variation of a taken-up material with the set pattern of the tension variation. CONSTITUTION:The revolution angle and the revolution speed of the captioned apparatus 3 are detected by a detector 16, and the values are inputted into a tension variation estimating apparatus 17, in which the estimated value DELTAF of the tension variation is obtained according to an equation, from the moment of inertia GD<2>of a taking-up shaft 1 or 2, revolution speed Vc, and the revolution angle beta. The estimated value is inputted into a revolution speed adjuster 19, where the value is compared with the tension pattern corresponding to the revolution angle beta set beforehand. The size of the pattern is set so as to be absorbed in the control system in a tension controller 12, and the comparison signal is inputted with the revolution speed signal of a speed detector 8 into the revolution speed adjuster 19, where the control signal is formed, which controls the revolution speed through a power supply unit 6 and a driving motor 4 so that control of tension of the taken-up material 15 may be facilitated. |
