摘要 Two tubular rated-current electrodes (17, 18) are arranged firmly and on the same axis in an insulating housing (11). The rated-current electrodes (17, 18), which are connected to connecting bushings (15, 16) which are potted in the housing (11), can be electrically connected to one another via a switching link (22) which is coupled to a drive. An arc contact set (45, 47) is arranged coaxially in one rated-current electrode (17), is electrically connected thereto, and interacts with a contact (34) which moves with the switching link (22). A compression space (51), which can be subjected to pressure during a switching-off stroke, is connected to a switching chamber (40) and assists a gas flow which blows out the switching arc which is drawn through an insulating material nozzle (35) between the arc contact set (45, 47) and the moving contact (34). In order above all to increase the electrical tracking resistance between the rated-current electrodes (17, 18) and to reduce the influence of temperature-change stresses, a radial separation, which forms a sheathing space (23, 24), is provided, at least in the region of the switching path (21) which is provided between the rated-current electrodes (17, 18), between the outsides of the rated-current electrodes (17, 18), which are firmly anchored on the respective connecting bushing (15, 16), and the inside of the insulating housing (11). <IMAGE>
