PURPOSE:To permit continuous exchange of cans free from stoppage by transferring the cans group and the sliver guide group in a loop-shaped path at a time by the pitch corresponding to the number of cans when the sliver on the cans at the down stream edge transfers to the full cans in waiting. CONSTITUTION:When the sliver on the cans 8 at the most downstream edge is drawn-out successively, and the sliver on this cans 8 is exhausted, the sliver S is made continuous to the sliver S' in the reserved full-cans 10, and a series of slivers each of which is made continuous through edge connection part 23 are detected by a detector 19. A motor 15 is operated by said detection signal, and a plurality of cans-feeding arms are turned by one pitch slowly at a time, and the cans 5-8 in a loop-shaped path 1 are turned all together, and the cans 8 which is vacant and positioned at the most downstream edge is ejected into a discharge passage 17. Related to this discharge, the new reserved full-cans 10 which is standing by in a feeding passage 16 and is edge-connected as described in the above is supplied to the upstream side of the loop-shaped passage 1. |
