Containers or jerrycans made by injection-blow moulding thermoplastic materials to profiles which include integral handles feature depressions along the handle faces flanked by overlapping and stepped faces to receive and retain prefabricated strip labels for e.g. identifying the contents of the container. Prods. are esp. useful for packaging hazardous materials such as mineral acids. Pref. the labels are of durable semi-rigid thin strip.
