PURPOSE:To make it possible that a conveyor carries usually plate-shaped articles keeping their aspects unchanged but returns selectively some of them freely if necessary by contriving to convey the articles in the aspect as received and some of them in the reverse direction as required. CONSTITUTION:A plate-shaped article A is received at an entrance 2 and conveyed toward the left side in such a manner that it is as if engaged with a belt 35 and a roller 41 in order to be held tightly. The plate-shaped article A, worked at a work post 10, proceeds pushing up a guide 71 when it reaches a guide position 7. Even after the end A1 of the article A passes the hold by belt 35 and 36, the article A continues to proceed properly to reach the second conveyor 5, because it is still pushed against the belt 35 via the guide 7 owing to suitably set force of a spring 73. The second conveyor 5, directed by a logical control unit, carried on the article up to a receiving table 8 when so specified, while it conveys the article A toward the right side, when the article must be returned up to the entrance 2, by rotating driving rollers 51 and 52, in anticlockwise direction. |
