The poultry drinking fountain comprises a conical cowl and a circular peripheral trough in which the water level is kept constant, placed on the ground or raised above it.S The cowl is open at the top to allow the passage of a hollow bar to which the trough base is fixed, troughs being formed in the ends of the latter. Part of the base is straight and sloping and another part forms a vessel with a water outlet nozzle. The water is delivered via a flexible hose under the control of a float valve.
