摘要 The invention relates to a method for changing the speed of a single-phase induction motor which has a main winding and an auxiliary winding and whose auxiliary winding is connected in series with at least one capacitor during operation at the high speed corresponding to the mains frequency. A change in speed without a special design of the motor is thus possible in that a voltage at the mains frequency is supplied to the main winding and to the auxiliary winding (41 and 42) during operation at high speed, the capacitor, which consists of two capacitor units (8 and 9) being connected in series with the auxiliary winding (42), and in that, in order to change to the lower speed, a voltage is supplied to the main winding and to the auxiliary winding (41 and 42) by means of in each case one frequency reducer which is connected in series with these windings, the frequency of which frequency reducer is less than the mains frequency. As a result of the frequency reducer being driven in a phase-shifted manner, the voltages which are supplied to the main winding and to the auxiliary winding (41 and 42) are phase-shifted with respect to one another. In each case one of the two capacitor units (8 and 9) is connected in parallel with the main winding and the auxiliary winding respectively (41 and 42 respectively). <IMAGE>
