PURPOSE:To manufacture a wavy winding cylindrical element coil while forming a circular-arc-shaped strip directly with a jig. CONSTITUTION:A single wire 3 is contacted with circular-arc-shaped strip forming surfaces 1C', 2C' of jigs 1, 2 along copy circular-arc-shaped surfaces 1B', 2B' respectively and is bent at the edges 1C'', 2C'' of the surfaces 1C', 2C' respectively. This operation is repeated plural times in the circumferential directions of the jigs 1, 2, thereby forming circular-arc-shaped strip group surrounding the periphery of the jigs 1, 2. The jigs 1, 2 are axially isolated from each other so that the edges 1C'', 2C'' of the surfaces 1C'. 2C' do not contact with the bent part of the wire 3, thereby manufacturing a wavy winding cylindrical element coil with the strips as constituents. In this manner, the mass productivity can be improved. |
