PURPOSE:To enable complete combustion for used tires, and to prevent the generation of black smoke and offensive smell, by hanging used tires while keeping their original forms, and by adopting a stepped-up, concentrated combustion method in order to burn the specific part of a tire from the lower part to the upper part in sequence. CONSTITUTION:When rings 27, hanging used tires T, are suspended by holding metal fittings 5 of a trolley conveyor 4 which can circulate inside and outside of a combustion chamber 1, and are introduced into the combustion chamber 1 from an inlet 9, the used tires are ignited to burn by an oil burner 11a for the primary ignition, provided to the position against the lowest part of a used tire T. During this time, the rising force of combustion flames are restrained by a jetting function of an upper blowing pipe 12, jetting air downwardly from slits 3, so that combustion is taken place concentratedly at the height of an ignition time. In this state, the used tires T are gradually lowered in their heights, while they are transferred, being ignited by oil burners 11b and 11c for the secondary and the tertiary ignitions, concentratedly burnt as mentioned above, and then, being discharged from an outlet 10. |
