PURPOSE:To obtain a photoreceptor enhanced in photosensitivity, durability, etc., and also suitable for color copying, by successively laminating a photosensitive layer containing Se or As no more than a specified proportion, and another photosensitive layer consisting of Se containing each specified proportion of Te and S on a conductive support. CONSTITUTION:An Se photosensitive layer 3 containing 0-1wt%. As is formed on a conductive support 1, and another Se photosensitive layer 5 containing 10- 15wt% Te and 0.5-5wt% S is formed on the layer 3. A thickness of the layer 3 is 0-80mum, and that of the layer 5 is 2-5mum, thus permitting the obtained photoreceptor to be enhanced in spectral sensitivity to a 400-700nm wide wavelength region, small in dark decay, excellent in photosensitivity, light fatigue resistance, etc., and suitable for color copying, too. |
