PURPOSE:To effectively heat a substance to be dried regardless of the shape of the dried substance in a tank by a method wherein a heating medium evaporation section is sealed up to induce vapor to the upper part by a pipe and generated heating medium vapor is directly blown upon the upper part of the substance to be dried. CONSTITUTION:A partition plate 9 sealing up a heating medium evaporation section is installed at a slightly higher position than the liquid level of a heating medium 4 at the lower part of a drying tank 2 and a substance 1 to be dried is set on the plate 9. The plate 9 is provided with a flexible pipe 10 inducing heat medium vapor to the upper part of the substance 1 to be dried and a return hole 12 for returning the condensate of the heating medium vapor collected on the plate 9. The heating medium 4 is heated for evaporation and vapor is blown upon the heating medium 4 from the upper part of the substance 1 to be dried by the flexible pipe 10. |
