PURPOSE:To measure a pulse width precisely by a simple constitution requiring no pulse generating circuit or the like, by detecting whether the pulse width is larger than a delay time or not, based on a measured pulse and a delayed measured pulse. CONSTITUTION:A measured pulse from a terminal 1 and a measured pulse transmitted via a delay circuit 2 are impressed on an AND gate 3, and when the width of the measured pulse is larger than a delay time of the circuit 2, the output of the gate 3 turns to be at a high level, whereby FF4 is set. According to a high or low level of the output Q of this FF4, detection and measurement of whether the width of the measured pulse is larger than the delay time or not are performed highly precisely by a simple constitution requiring no pulse generating circuit generating a pulse having a reference width or the like. |
