An appliance for the separation of finely distributed particles from gas at high temperature displays a primary, and in the main, cylindrical container (12), involving walls which are covered with material (26), which is impervious to high temperatures. A gas inlet opening (34) and a gas outlet opening (36) are in an upwards position in the primary container along with the majority of inlet openings (38, 40) for solid particles. An outlet opening (42) for solid particles is situated downwards in the container. Another, in the main, cylindrical container (14) is situated in the primary container and involves a gas inlet opening (50), and a gas outlet opening (52), along with the majority of inlet openings (54, 56) for solid particles situated upwards in the second container. An inlet opening (22) for solid particles is designed to lead incoming particle-shaped and solid contact material which, via the inlet openings already mentioned (38, 40) in the primary container, is attached to the second container at its inlet openings (54, 56) for solid particles. A majority of extended grid-units (58, 60, 62), situated at a distance from each other, are located inside the second container in order to form a majority of extended outer chambers (64, 66) for particle-shaped and solid contact material. In this way, an extended gas inlet chamber (108) is delimited between a wall from the other container and an outer grid-unit (58) from the above-mentioned grid-units.<IMAGE> |
