PURPOSE:To obtain a toner of superior transfer characteristics, gradation reproducibility and developing characteristics by mixing insulation characteristic resin particles contg. magnetic powder, and the 2nd insulation characteristic magnetic resin particles which are electrostatically charged to the same polarity as those of electrostatic latent images by friction with said particles and contain magnetic powder at specific ratios. CONSTITUTION:The 1st insulation characteristic resin particles 1 and the 2nd insulation characteristic resin particles 2 respectively contg. magnetic powder both have >=10<13>OMEGA.cm volume resistivity, and both have 1-30mu average grain sizes. The 2nd resin particles 2 have <=95% satd. magnetization possessed by the 1st particles 1 and are contained with suitable dyes, polar compds., etc. so as to be charged electrostatically to the reversed polarity as that of the particles 1 and the same polarity as that of electrostatic latent images by friction with the particles 1. The toner mixed in such a way that the particles 2 are contained at 0.5-25wt% out of the total weight of both resin particles 1, 2 is produced. The stable and superior images are obtained by this irrespectively of the kinds of copying paper and atmospheric humidity. |
