A device is proposed with a shaping mandrel (20) for producing packaging sleeves (10) of blanks of packaging material. So that the shaped sleeves can be easily drawn off the shaping mandrel, one of the side walls of the latter is initially arched, so that the sleeve no longer rests tightly against the shaping mandrel when this side has returned to a single plane. To achieve this, the shaping mandrel has a concave side (29) against which the blank is placed, while the longitudinal seam (14) is being formed, by means of a roller (27) which can be pivoted about a pivoting point. <IMAGE> |
