The time division multiplex connection comprises a connection line which interconnects a number of subscriber stations. The information transmitted from each subscriber station is transmitted in a specific time slot of consecutive pulse frames in time division multiplexing. To set up a conference circuit, the associated subscriber stations in each case contain a plurality of registers in which the information in each case of one time slot of the pulse frame is stored so that the subscriber station can receive the information from a plurality of time slots of a pulse frame and can thus receive a plurality of transmitting subscriber stations. The registers are thus connected via a demultiplexer to the time division multiplex link. A decoder which restores the original analog signal is connected to each register. The outputs of the decoders are connected via a switching arrangement to the reproduction device so that the information of selectable time slots and therefore selectable subscriber stations can be connected, if necessary also in multiple fashion for emphasis, to the reproduction device(s). The demultiplexer and switching arrangement can be controlled on a centralised, decentralised or combined basis. <IMAGE>
