Receiving device for reflector control rods in a nuclear reactor

Device for receiving and cooling reaction rods, in particular control rods, in the side reflector of the reactor core of a high temperature reactor having a thermal top (upper) shield and a prestressed concrete vessel surrounding the reactor. This device consists of a receiving and guiding tube which projects through the prestressed concrete vessel and the thermal top shield and into the side reflector and is assembled from a plurality of individual pipe lengths arranged approximately coaxially with one another, and has at least two articulated connections by means of which at least two pipe lengths can be displaced radially relative to one another. The pipe lengths are constructed at their ends in the shape of inwardly pointing funnels.
