PURPOSE:To obtain a fuel cell not suffeering from electrolytic corrosion by connecting adjacent electrodes through bipolar plates made of carbon as a conductive material. CONSTITUTION:As shown by an arrow, electrolyte enters an electrolyte chamber 15 from an entrance common passage 33, which passes through resin frames 2 and packings 9, through passages 27 between resin frames 2 and goes out to an exit common passage 34 through similar passages 28, thus not touching carbon plates 1 of bipolar plates, while no leakage current flows to the carbon plates 1 because the resin frames 2 as well as the packings 9 are non-conductive substances so that no electrolytic corrosion occurs. |
