PURPOSE:To provide the titled compsn. capable of producing moldings which have high strength and rigidity and in which thermal strain during molding is remarkably reduced and residual stress is very low, by blending glass beads and glass fiber is combination. CONSTITUTION:Pref. 20-50pts.wt. glass beads and pref. 5-50pts.wt. glass fiber are blended with 100pts.wt. polysulfone to obtain the titled compsn. Glass beads having an average particle size of 20mum or below, pref. 10mum or below are used. Glass fiber having a ratio of length l/diameter d of 10 or above, pref. 10-30 is used. Pref. said glass beads and said glass fiber are surface-treated with a silane coupling agent, such as aminosilanes or epoxysilanes. |
