PURPOSE:To form a junction member which has high junction strength in such a way that indented grooves in the same shape as teeth in order to engage the teeth with one another at both ends of toothed belts are provided on a member on the toothed side of the junction member. CONSTITUTION:A member 1 on the toothed side is made of hard plastic which provides two indented grooves in the same shape as teeth 3 of belts a, a' to be joined to the inside in the forward and rearward directions. A member 2 on the back side is a flat plate which is abutted through the belts to the member 1 on the toothed side. The both members 1, 2 are tightly fixed in such a way that the belts are tucked at their middle by means of four screws which are penetrated from the member 1 on the toothed side through the teeth 3 of the belts a, a'. Since the member 1 on the toothed side is engaged with the teeth 3 of the belts, the junction strength is strong. |
