PURPOSE:To prevent a vehicle from rapid acceleration or deceleration, by providing a damper in which damping force is applied in such a manner as to move an injection quantity adjusting member at a displacement speed for the vehicle to smoothly change its speed. CONSTITUTION:If an accelerator pedal is operated at starting, a negative pressure signal is fed to a negative pressure chamber 28, and a control rack 16 is displaced to the side of an actuator 22 by a diaphragm 24. Here the atmospheric air is fed to an intenal chamber 36 via a check valve 42, and the rack 16 can be displaced without being applied with any damping, in accordance with this displacement a plunger 4 is turned, thus a quantity of fuel is supplied in accordance with an operational amount. If the pedal is rapidly returned to an inoperative position, negative pressure is decreased, and the rack 16 is displaced to the side of a cylinder 34 by a spring 32. Here the atmospheric air in the internal chamber 36 is pressed out through a fixed throttle 40, and the rack 16 is damped to smoothly perform deceleration. Accordingly, depression of the pedal due to a rapid deceleration shock can be eliminated. |
