PURPOSE:To obtain an electro-sensitive lithographic plate resistible to environmental pollution and the abrasion of recorder by using, a high molecular binder capable of forming unshared electron pair when supplying electricity according to an electric information signal and an electric conductive agnet, as main components. CONSTITUTION:A return electrode 6 or 6' is provided on the surface of the conductive hydrophilic supporter 1 or electricity-sensitive layer 2 of a print plate 3. A DC voltage is applied to the surface of the electro-sensitive layer 2 in an image form according to an electric information signal to cause a bridging reaction to take place and thereby to form a water-soluble hipophilic image 7. Then, flowing water is brought into contact with the surface of the electro- sensitive layer 2 to dissolve and remove non-image section 8, whereby causing the hydrophilic surface 9 to be exposed. In this case, as a high molecular binder, a substance capable of forming unshared electron pair with a bichromate or when being electrified is used. Also, as the conductive agent used, a substance having good conductivity, e.g., graphite, carbon black, etc., is used. |
