PURPOSE:To realize a universal applicable to diverse small-quantity production by controlling a plate material, fed out by exercising numerical control over feed rolls of an NC roll feed in a freely forward and backward rotation state, so that it can move back freely, and further exercising numerical control over a laser head so that the head moves forth and back freely in a plane parallel to the plate material in a feeding and a perpendicular direction. CONSTITUTION:A plate material 2 unwound from a coil cradle 1 with a leveler is fed to an NC roll feed 3. The plate material 2 is fed by feed rollers 4 and 4 onto a roller table 5 to length enough to cut one blank. According to the figure of the blank, the step motor of the NC roll feed 3 and the step motor 11 of a cutting device 6 are controlled by a previously programmed numerical control signal, and then the feed rolls 4 and 4 are turned forward or backward to move the plate material 2 forth or back freely. In the cutting device 6, on the other hand, a feed screw 9 is rotated forward or backward through pulleys 10 and 12 and a timing belt 13 to move a laser head 7 forth or back freely in a feeding and a perpendicular direction. |
