PURPOSE:To rationalize the total control operation of office machines and apparatus such as a copying machine and a facsimile by providing an operation processing device, a program memory, a volatile data memory, a display part, and a battery to a key card. CONSTITUTION:A key card B is provided with an ROM31 and an RAM32 to be controlled by a CPU2 and driven by a battery 4 to actuate a display part 1 by a switch SW1. A battery checking circuit 5 checks voltage. The key card is connected to a unit A on the machine side through connecting terminals T11-15 and a projection part 6 closes a switch SW2. The unit A on the machine side is connected to the card B through connecting terminals T21-25 and provided with a CPU7, a memory 8 and an electric charging circuit 9 for the battery 4. When the unit A and the card B are connected, the unit A discriminates the card number and, in case of a correct number, outputs a signal SC. executes copying operation and transfers a counting signal to the card B. When the card B is inserted into an unshown totalizer, the contents of the RAM32 are read out. Consequently totalization is simplified and controlling operation is rationalized. |
