A golf putter head comprises a moulded block 1 of a high density rubber compound which is of part frusto-conical shape providing a flat front striking face 2, which is perpendicular to a flat base, and a part-conical rear face 6. A blind mounting bore 3 moulded in a flat top face is appropriately inclined and provides an interference fit for a shaft of the putter. The bore 3 is surrounded by a sleeve-like upstanding boss 4 which surrounds and grips the lower end of the shaft 5. A "wood" may also be made from the high density rubber compound. <IMAGE> |
