The fixing for the dental prosthesis includes a roughly cylindrical insert (c) which is fitted into a tubular element (b) retaining a spring clip (4b) and a C-shaped buckle (a) which grips the prosthesis. The insert has an axial slot (1c) which permits the two sides (2c,3c) to have a degree of resilience. The two free ends of the insert (4c,Jc) are defined by half-cylinders which fit into the C-shaped cavity defined by the buckle. The tubular element has a pair of parallel, opposed transverse cut-outs (3b) formed in the wall receiving the two limbs of the U-shaped spring clip. The limbs bear against grooves (8c,9c) in the insert to block any rotation of the insert which is greater than 90 degrees.
