A method of purifying propylene polymers is disclosed. A polypropylene-liquid propylene slurry produced by polymerization in the presence of a catalyst containing an organoaluminum compound and a titanium halide is contacted with an alcohol or diketone and with oxygen. Thereafter, the propylene polymer is washed with liquid propylene.
