PURPOSE:To automatically select a deleted word and to prevent the deterioration of performance due to troublesome registration, by giving sequence to words in a dictionary with time finally used and locating the word to a two-branch retrieval tree according to the magnitude of Kana (Japanese syllabary) index recording. CONSTITUTION:When a word ''computer'' is newly registered, the word ''invention'' which has not been used for the longest time is deleted (c), the word computer is registered and the order of the use of words is revised as (d). On the other hand, in a two-branch retrieval tree, the word invention is deleted and the right retrieval tree lower right the word patent is changed as (d). To locate the word computer on the two-branch tree, first the word is compared with the word patent, and since the word computer is in ascending order of pronounciation ''A, I, U, E, O'', the word computer is compared with the word information. Thus, finally, the word computer is compared with a word Kanji (Chinese character) for the word order, then since the word computer comes later, the word computer is located at lower right position of the word Kanji. |
