<p>PURPOSE:To generate an English sentence with an optimum constituent pattern, by outputting the English sentence suitable for a concept from a table of concepts consisting of two concepts related to each other and related data indicating the relation between the concepts. CONSTITUTION:A word for a concept is sought from an English word retrieval device 2. A cnstitution pattern to the selected word is sought from a constituent pattern retrieval device 3. According to the selected pattern, the following processings are performed in the order of higher concept as shown in the arrow. English words are selected to the concepts with priority and the pattern is selected. When the suitable pattern and words exist, a discriminator 4 for connection of words checks the presence/absence of the English words at the tip and root of the arrow. When present, the processing is repeated to the concept with the lower priority. If absent, the pattern of the concept at the root of the arrow is reprocessed with replaced words. Finally, the English words are arranged as the order of words to form the English sentence.</p> |
