PURPOSE:To obtain good quality printing by using a lithographic plate requiring no demping water and an usual type ink by the use of a foam roll having a specific Shore hardness. CONSTITUTION:Of the roll groups of an inking device, a foam roll in contact with the plate is designated to a hardness of Shore hardness of 15-25, preferably in the range of 18-20 hardness. Thus, good quality printings can be obtained with respect to ground staining, picking and lustrousness, and the price of ink can be reduced by using the usual lithographic ink. The foam roll is molded of polyurethane rubber, etc. |
