PURPOSE:To surely discharge and feed toner with a compact equipment by applying impact to the toner in a columnar toner container when a toner feeding port is situated to a toner discharging position by the rotation of the container. CONSTITUTION:A toner feeding port is straight attached to a toner cartridge 21 in its longitudinal direction. A traverse column 23 with a continuous groove 231 for generating traversing movement is fitted to the rotating shaft of the toner cartridge 21 and a traverse pin 232 is engaged with the groove 231. When the toner cartridge 21 starts to rotate by a toner feeding signal, the cartridge oscillates horizontally and applies impact to the toner at the conversion point of traversing direction when a toner discharging port is moved down. The impact may be applied to the tangental direction of the rotation of the cartridge. |
