PURPOSE:To decrease the waiting time of a customer, by performing automatic dialing when an identification card is inserted to a card detection means and connecting a center computer with a public line through the use of an input time of transaction data of a customer. CONSTITUTION:A card reader 3 outputs an insertion signal S1 to a transmission and reception controlling circuit 10 and informs the data DAT1 of a card 15 to a CPU2. While the controlling circuit 10 connects a center computer with an automatic dial circuit 11 on a public line 13, the customer inputs customer data DAT2. When the center is connected, the controlling circuit 10 transmits the data DAT2 and DAT1 to the center. When the transmission and processing are finished, the CPU2 drives an in-print printer, returns the card 15 with the prescribed processing. The controlling circuit 10 keeps the line for a time T with a timer 12 by a return signal S2. When the next card is inserted within the time T, the transmission can immediately be performed. |
