摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To stabilize the driving operation of an electric rolling stock driven by induction motors by performing the switching of a regenerative drive mode and the judgement of the end of the regenerative drive mode of the vehicle with a rotation frequency meter connected to the motor. CONSTITUTION:When a regenerative brake force is abruptly eliminated as an induction motor rotating frequency fr is a value designated by the point (a), the drop of the total brake force at the point (a) becomes large, making the riding feeling extremely uncomfortable. When the regenerative force is gradually decreased from the point (a) and the fall is matched to the rise of a pneumatic brake, the switching to the pneumatic brake can be smoothly performed. When the vehicle speed is decelerated to cause the regenerative brake to be reduced, the regenerative operation is stopped at the point (b) to avoid the resonance point of an inverter filter existing in the rotating frequency fr of the induction motor below the point (b), and the vehicle is stopped thereafter only with the pneumatic brake. The judgement of operating the stopping of the vehicle can be readily performed by presetting the rotating frequency fr at the points (a), (b).</p>
