PURPOSE:To prevent a terminal part of a steel plate from dropping into a looping pit and being damaged, by providing an electromagnetic roller and an electromagnetic magnet on a looping table in the looping pit, when supplying a band-like steel plate to a roll feeder. CONSTITUTION:A band-shaped steel plate 1 such as an electrical steel plate, etc. is unwound from its coil, is supplied to a press mechanism 5 through a leveling mechanism 3, a loop pit 6 and a roll feeder 4, and is punched to a prescribed shape. In this case, when the terminal of the steel plate 1 gets out of the leveling mechanism 3, it is detected by a terminal detector 11, and by its detecting signal, an electromagnetic roller 9 and an electromagnetic magnet 10 provided on a looping table 7 in the loop pit 6 are energized, the steel plate is adsorbed, and the looping table 7 is pushed up by an air cylinder device 8, holding the terminal part. When the looping table 7 has risen up to a prescribed position, the electromagnetic roller 9 and the electromagnetic magnet 10 are de-energized, the terminal part of the steel plate is supplied to the roll feeder 4 without being dropped into the looping pit, and it is prevented that the steel plate drops and is damaged. |
