PURPOSE:To manufacture an aluminum hollow mold material having an uneven pattern excellent in decorative effect, on the surface, by putting a hollow extruding mold material made of aluminum, etc. into a design mold provided with a pattern forming recessed surface, on its inside surface, putting hydraulic pressure on the inside of the mold material, and performing bulge-working. CONSTITUTION:An aluminum hollow mold material 1 whose side walls 2, 2 are flat is extruded and molded, this mold material 1 is put into design molds 10, 10 having a recessed part 11 for forming a pattern on its inside surface 12, and both the design molds 10, 10 are strongly joined. In this state, its bulge-working is performed by putting hydraulic pressure into an inside 13 of the aluminum hollow mold material 1, it is expanded so that both the side walls 2, 2 tightly adhere onto the inside surface 12 of the design molds 10, 10, and on the side walls 2, 2, an uneven surface having a decorative effet is formed. It is temper- processed, is subjected to alumite surface treatment, by which an aluminum hollow mold material for building materials and fittings is obtained. |
