<p>PURPOSE:To enable an accurate titled controlling, by predicting the change of sheet shape within a time lag of a feed-back controlling while the rolling speed changes and performing jointly a feed-forward controlling in accordance with said controlling and predicted results. CONSTITUTION:A sheet shape at the exit of the final stand 12 having a sheet shape controlling means consisting of a bender and a press-down device 20 is detected by a shape detector 16 to be controlled by a feed-back controlling system constituting of a shape discriminating device 22 and a feed-back controlling device 24. At that time, while the rolling speed is changed, the change of sheet shape caused by he change of the rolling speed within a time lag of the feed- back controlling is predicted, and a necessary operating quantity DELTAF of the shape controlling means is computed by a correcting quantity operator 38 of a feed-forward controlling system in accordance with the predicted results. Then a bender operating quantity F of a controlling device 24 and the operating quantity DELTAF are added to control the shape controlling means of the stand 12 by the feed-forward controlling through comparison operators 42 and 50.</p> |
