PURPOSE:To make welding operation easy and finishing of welded surface smooth in the case of welding with welding rods by repeating a triangular manipulation method peaking at the contact points of metallic materials. CONSTITUTION:In the case of welding thin sheets 1, 2, one point 4 of joined parts 3 is taken as a base point, and first, a welding rod is placed at the point 4 and while the welding rod is melted by heating, it is manipulated diagonally downward toward the point 5 bordering near the part 3 of the sheet 1. The rod is next manipulated horizontally from the point 5 toward the point 6 facing the point 5 bordering near the part 3 of the plate 2, after which it is manipulated diagonally upward toward the point 4' in the joined parts slightly upper than the point 4. By the repetition of the triangular manipulation method in this way, the rod is manipulated on the joined parts successively to the points 4', 5', 6', 4'' whereby the prescribed length is welded. |
