摘要 PURPOSE:To improve the acceleration of formation of slag and diffusion disoxidation in basic electric furnace melting of low carbon alloy steel by adding lime silicide and Al swarf in combination dividedly a number of times in a reduction period. CONSTITUTION:In a reduction period in melting of low carbon high alloy steel, lime silicide and Al swarf are added in combination dividedly a number of times. Then, the formation of slag is accelerated, disoxidation characteristic is improved and the fluidity of the slag is maintained properly. In order to maintain this state, the voltage is dropped to regulate WH with electric power after the formation of slag. In this way, the formation of slag is effected perfectly, and this can be maintained till tapping. The fluidity of slag is maintained properly and diffusion disoxidation is progressed powerfully.
