<p>PURPOSE:To enable to exhibit a stable anticorrosive effect even at a high temperature, by applying a vulcanizer containing primer on a surface of a metallic product, then wrap-winding an anticorrosive tape having a halogenated butyl rubber containing adhesive layer. CONSTITUTION:An anticorrosive tape is prepared by laminating an adhesive compound composed mainly of 100pts.wt. of a halogenated butyl rubber alone or a mixture of the halogenated butyl rubber and a ethylene-propylene terpolymer and 20-80pts.wt. of a polyisobutylene type resin as an adhesive layer to a substrate composed of a crosslinked rubber sheet or a crosslinked (stretched) plastic sheet. The anticorrosive tape is wrap-wound immediately after a primer containing a vulcanizer which can vulcanize the halogenated bityl rubber is applied on a surface of a metal product to be made corrosion-resistant, and the adhesive layer of the anticorrosive tape is vulcanized by the vulcanizer contained in the primer.</p> |
