PURPOSE:To obtain signals of a high resolution, by reading data in a prescribed range under the stationary state and reading always data under the stationary state when the sensor is moved to an adjacent range. CONSTITUTION:Data is stored in a memory M-A corresponding to a range Va through a two-dimensional sensor DS, an analog-digital converter A/D, and a changeover switch SW. Contents of a position signal memory PS-M are used as a key to detect the overlap part between read ranges Va and Vb, and the operation for obtaining the difference is performed to obtain signals for only range A and only range B, and these signals are stored successively in a comparison memory CMM. Original information of a dictionary DCT are compared with stored contents of each memory by a collating circuit CMP. |
