PURPOSE:To provide more durable and lightweighted rocker arm by forming its main body out of sintered aluminum alloy and its tip out of wire-entangled wear-proof sintered alloy and firmly brazing them in the integrated form. CONSTITUTION:A rocker arm 1 is composed of a main rocker arm body 2 and a tip 3. The main rocker arm body 2 is made of sintered aluminum alloy and the tip 3 is made of wire-entangled wear-proof sintered alloy. Specific portions 2c, 3c are formed at the rocker arm 2 and the tip 3, respectively for fitting them therethrough, providing firm integration via a brazed area 4. Thereby, a durable and lightweighted rocker arm may be obtained. |
