<p>PURPOSE:To obtain the desired temperature rise characteristics even for fluctuation of the load, by controlling automatically either of the velocity of the hot blast and the temperature at least when the hot blast is blown to a material to be heated, which is transferred in a furnace along a prescribed transfer path, to heat this material. CONSTITUTION:A material (a) to be heated is moved in a prescribed speed from an inlet 5 to an outlet 6 by a transfer device 7 and is heated in a preheating zone 2, a heating zone 3, and a uniformly heating zone 4 in orde in accordance with the elapse of time. The temperature of the material (a) to be heated detected by a radiation thermometer 14 and atmospheric temperatures in respective furnaces detected by thermoscouple thermometers 18 and 19 are compared with each other and are operated in controllers 16 and 17. Respective openings of dampers 20-22 and a wind velocity corresponding to them are considered to control burner controlling motors 12 and 13 and dampers 20-22, thereby controlling either of the velocity of the hot blast for the material (a) to be heated and the temperature of the hot blast at least.</p> |
