PURPOSE:To efficiently execute a pipeline processing, by utilizing immediately the result converted in accordance with an observation window in scanning at the observation window to the processing at an observation window which is shifted by 1 bit portion. CONSTITUTION:In accordance with an observation window for observing bits 00, 01, 02, 10, 11, 12, 20, 21 and 23 of observation window of 3X3 bits, the converting processing is executed by a converting processing ROM 1 shown in the figure, and a bit ''11'' of its result is utilized for processing of a converting processing ROM 2 based on an observation window which has been shifted by 1 bit portion. When processing the bits 11-17 shown in the figure, if the bit ''10'' is known in advance, the bit ''11'' is utilized by the ROM 1, the bit ''12'' of the converting processing result is obtained, it is utilized by the ROM 2, and the bit ''13'' of the converting processing result is obtained. By continuing said process, the bit ''17'' is obtained by falling down like ninepins. |
