PURPOSE:To improve warm-up performance at a low temperature, by installing a control unit and a control rack to feed fuel independently of control operations of a governor during a specified period immediately after engine starting. CONSTITUTION:A governor 15 and a control rack regulator 2 are installed in a fuel-injection pump 1. Output signals of a cooling water temperature detector 5, an oil temperature detector 6 and an engine speed detector 7 are inputted into a control unit 3. After engine starting, for a period of time till reaching the normal engine speed, the regulator 2 stands against control operations of the governor 15 and then sets positioning of the control rack according to a reciprocal of engine cooling water temperature. Doing like this, warm-up performance in time of a low temperature can be improved and engine stalling is thus obviated; warm-up time may be much reduced. |
