PURPOSE:To enable to accumulate cold in the midnight, to improve the performance of a heat accumulating air conditioner, and to make its structure compact, by incorporating an evaporator of a refrigerating cycle and a cooler in a circuit for circulating a cooling liquid used for cooling a room to be air-conditioned in a heat accumulating or regenerative tank, in the manner that they are arranged in a unitary manner in parallel with each other, and filling the regenerative tank with a latent heat accumulating medium. CONSTITUTION:A coolant liquid is passed through an evaporator 16 by operating a space cooler 10 through utilization of midnight electric power, so as to cool a cooling liquid in a cooler 22 of a cooling-liquid circulating circuit 23 and to accumulate cold in a heat accumulating or regenerative medium in a regenerative chamber 27. In space-cooling operation in the daytime, on the other hand, cooling water is sent to an indoor heat exchanger 19 through operation of a pump 20, whereby cooling water is cooled by the regenerative medium while it is circulated through the circuit and cools a room to be air-conditioned by the aid of the indoor heat exchanger 19. With such an arrangement, it is enabled to improve the heat exchanging performance and to make the structure of air conditioner compact. Further, cold can be accumulated by use of midnight electric power. |
