PURPOSE:To obtain a sufficient reproduction output even with narrow information track width, by providing magneto-resistance elements formed in spiral on the same plane at both sides of an insulation layer made of a non-magnetic substance body. CONSTITUTION:Magneto-resistance elements 71, 72, 81 and 82 formed in spiral on the same plane are provided at both sides of an insulation layer 3 made of a non-magnetic substance. Both the sides are shielded with a magnetic substance 2. Terminals 7 and 8 of a head are connected to current sources 14 and 15 and one terminal is connected to a power supply 17. A common terminal 9 of the head is grounded. Further, a terminal 7 is connected to a non-inverted phase input of a differential amplifier 16 and a terminal 8 is connected to an inverted phase input respectively. The output of the terminals 7 and 8 of a magneto-resistance effect type head is in opposite with each other and the outputs are respectively inputted to the non-inverted and the inverted phase input terminals of the differential amplifier, the outputs are summed. |
