PURPOSE:To regenerate an ion selective membrane simply, by bringing a plasticizer having the dissolution capacity to a neutral carrier being a constitution component of the ion selective membrane and giving the flexibility to the ion selective membrane into contact with the ion selective membrane. CONSTITUTION:A potassium ion is measured immersing in a blood serum by using a potassium ion selective electrode constituting its ion selective membrane by a polyvinyl chloride film containing valinomycin as a neutral carrier and dioctyl adipate as a plasticizer. Hereby, deteriorated ion selective electrode is regenerated by immersing in dioctyl adipate for a prescribed time. |
