PURPOSE:To select transfer paper size correctly by selecting one of sheets of transfer paper of different size for an image on a photoreceptor whose size depends upon original size and copying magnfication, an then feeding the selected transfer paper. CONSTITUTION:At a paper feed part 20, sheets of transfer paper differing in size are contained in paper feed cassettes L1-LN. For life-size copying, a copying magnification specifying means sets copying magnification (m) to 1 and a detecting means detects the size of an original; and their results are processed by an arithmetic device and on the basis of the processing result, the starting point of rotation of a resist roller couple 28 is determined and transfer paper S of the same size with the original is selected among sheets of transfer paper in the paper feed cassettes is selected and fed. For variable magnification coyping, transfer paper S is selected by a similar procedure. |
