PURPOSE:To obtain numbers of shutter speed setting stages by performing switching between a shutter speed for photography displayed on a display device as it is and the reciprocal number of the displayed value. CONSTITUTION:A setting dial 1 couples with a changeover switch 3 to send codes which correspond to shutter speeds. Each code consists of five bits; leftmost bit information is generated with a switch 3 and other pieces of 4-bit information are generated with the setting dial 1. When the switch is place at a side S for short time mode, the leftmost bit information is (0) and a display number on the setting dial 1 shows the denominator number of the shutter speed; when the switch 3 is placed at a side for long time mode, the leftmost bit information is (1) and a displayed number on the dial 1 shows the shutter speed as it is. Therefore, each display number on the setting dial 1 gives two kind of shutter speeds according to the information of the switch 3, increasing the number of setting stages nearly double. |
